- On Friday, Julie Won held a press conference on the corner of 48th and 40th regarding the transition of the City View Shelter to an all men adult shelter. This is impacting our families as they are being relocated to different shelters across the five boroughs. On the news, it was stated that 37 children are being relocated. I cannot confirm or deny that number. However, my team has been in contact with each family to support them through this difficult time. Supports include bussing, OMNY cards, etc. At this time, I do not have any further details that I can share with the SLT.
